Summer Reading List 2014

It’s summer time – time to instill good reading habits in your children.

According to the Association of Library Services for Children, children who participate in public library summer reading programs tend to avoid the “summer slide,” in learning.

The ALSC has released its Summer Reading Lists 2014 and has separated the lists into three parts – Kindergarten through second grade, Third through fifth grades and sixth through eighth.

The books on the list come highly recommended by same age-readers throughout the country. The books are available in ebook, audio book, Braille and large print, according to ALSC. So there’s no excuse – have your children sign up today.
